Our no child-labour policy
Padma Accessories strictly prohibits child labour. We do not employ any person below the legal minimum working age, and we verify age with documentation before anyone joins our factory inside Chittagong EPZ. This policy makes that commitment clear and unconditional.

Zero tolerance, no exceptions
No person under the legal minimum working age is employed anywhere in our operation, in any role, at any time. This applies across production, quality control, maintenance, warehouse and office functions, and it is the responsibility of management to uphold it.
Operating inside the regulated Chittagong Export Processing Zone reinforces our controls, and supplying buyers who run their own compliance audits keeps the standard under regular, independent scrutiny.

The checks that back the promise
Verify age
Every applicant's age is confirmed with identity documents before any offer of employment.
Keep records
Age and identity records are kept on file and available for buyer compliance review.
Make it owned
Managers and supervisors are accountable for compliance on their teams.
Remediate first
If a concern arose, the young person's wellbeing would come first and be handled responsibly.

Responsible remediation
A genuine no child-labour commitment is not only about prevention — it is also about how a problem would be handled if one were ever found. Our policy puts the young person's wellbeing first: the situation would be remediated responsibly rather than the individual simply being turned away.
This policy sits alongside our anti-discrimination policy as part of how we run a lawful, ethical and responsible business that buyers can trust.
