RSC carton (regular slotted carton) for bulk export, made in Chittagong EPZ
An RSC carton, or regular slotted carton, is a corrugated box whose four top and four bottom flaps are the same depth, with the outer pair meeting in the middle. It is also called a regular slotted container or simply a slotted box. It cuts from one blank with the least board waste, which makes it the most economical, square and stackable export carton we make.

An RSC is scored and slotted from a single sheet of corrugated board, then joined at a manufacturer's joint with glue, stitch or tape. When you fold it, all four flaps are the same depth: the inner flaps do not meet, while the two outer flaps close edge-to-edge down the centre. That simple geometry is why the RSC dominates export packing — it nests flat for shipping, sets up fast by hand or machine, and uses board efficiently across almost any length, width and height.

How to measure an RSC carton
Carton sizes are written as length × width × height, measured inside the box in millimetres. Length is the longer side of the opening, width is the shorter side, and height runs from the bottom to the top of the box. Quote the inside size, because the product must fit inside. The outside size is larger by about the board thickness on each wall, so it matters for pallet and container loading.

Is a slotted box the same as an RSC carton?
Usually yes. Slotted box is a general name for cartons cut with slots between the flaps. The regular slotted carton is the most common slotted style; the half slotted, overlap slotted and full overlap cartons are variations of it.
