Regular Slotted Container

RSC master cartons for bulk export, made in Chittagong EPZ

The Regular Slotted Container is the carton most of your shipments live in. All four flaps are equal length and the outer pair meets in the middle, so it cuts from one blank with the least board waste — the most economical, square and stackable export carton we make.

How it is built

One blank, equal flaps, a centre seam

An RSC is scored and slotted from a single sheet of corrugated board, then joined at a manufacturer's joint with glue, stitch or tape. When you fold it, all four flaps are the same depth: the inner flaps do not meet, while the two outer flaps close edge-to-edge down the centre. That simple geometry is why the RSC dominates export packing — it nests flat for shipping, sets up fast by hand or machine, and uses board efficiently across almost any length, width and height.

For your line, that translates into predictable cost and throughput. We hold your buyer's inside dimensions and tolerances, match board grade to contents weight and stack height, and crease the panels so cartons square up cleanly without bowing. Whether you are packing folded knitwear, woven garments or accessory cartons, the RSC keeps the cube tight and the pallet stable.

RSC carton FAQs

What is an RSC master carton?

An RSC, or Regular Slotted Container, is a corrugated box where all four flaps are the same length and the two outer flaps meet in the middle when closed. It is the most common and economical export carton because it cuts from a single blank with minimal board waste.

Which flute should I order for an RSC carton?

B flute is the standard export master-carton grade with the best all-round stacking and cushioning. E flute suits lighter printed shippers, and A flute or AB double-wall is for heavy, dense or high-stack loads.

Can you print shipping marks on RSC cartons?

Yes. We print buyer shipping marks, carton numbers, handling symbols, barcodes and FSC trademarks in-house by flexo, and supply pre-production samples for approval before the run.

Need RSC cartons on spec and on time?

Send your inside dimensions and contents weight — we will recommend a grade and quote within 24 hours.
