Neck boards & back boards from Chittagong EPZ

A dress shirt that folds flat and looks sharp on the shelf relies on printed paper-board behind the collar and the fold. Each board is die-cut to the buyer's folding standard, and getting the shape and thickness right is what stops collars from sagging in transit. We print and cut every board in-house, so each fits the fold the brand has specified.

The components

• Neck boards — the printed card under the folded collar that holds its line.
• Back boards & size strips — the support card behind the folded shirt, often printed with the size.

Materials & print

Neck boards and back boards are die-cut from FSC-certified paper board in the gsm and shape the fold requires — heavier for structured collars, lighter for soft styles. They can be left plain or printed with brand logos, size data and care information, on FSC-certified stock under licence C221033 where the retailer asks for chain-of-custody board.

Buyer & compliance notes

Each buyer publishes a folding and presentation standard that fixes the board dimensions, collar shape and which parts are required for a given style. We work to that standard and supply a folded pre-production sample for approval, so the shelf result matches the brand book before bulk. Because boards, hang tags and price tickets are made in the same plant, the whole presentation kit ships together on one purchase order.
