The Regular Slotted Carton (RSC) is the most common master-carton specification on RMG export documents worldwide. If your buyer\'s tech pack lists "Master Carton: RSC", this is the construction you need.
How RMG exporters use this construction
An RSC is the workhorse of the garment-export supply chain. It uses minimum board for maximum capacity, which keeps both unit cost and freight weight down. Most knitwear, woven and denim shipments leave Chittagong port in RSC master cartons made to a buyer-nominated spec.
Typical use:
- Master cartons for finished-garment shipments to Europe / North America / Australia
- Inner cartons for assortment packs and PO splits
- Sample-shipment cartons
- Buyer-DC consolidation cartons
