One-Piece Folder

One-piece folder & book-wrap mailer, made in Chittagong EPZ

For flat goods, a box is often more than you need. The one-piece folder we make in Chittagong EPZ is a single scored blank that wraps up and around the contents, closing snug with no separate lid and no loose parts — strong on the edges and corners, light on postage, and flat until the moment you pack it.

How it works

One blank that wraps the product

A one-piece folder, often called an OPF or book-wrap, starts as a flat corrugated sheet with all its creases pre-scored. You lay the product on the central panel, fold the side and end flaps up and over, and the blank becomes a snug box in a few seconds — no lid to align, no tape line across the face unless you want one. The book-wrap variant adds adjustable creases so the same blank can close tight on different thicknesses, gripping the contents rather than rattling around a fixed cavity.

That snug, low-profile fit is what makes it ideal for flat goods: books and printed matter, lookbooks, documents, folded apparel and accessory cards. Because there is only one piece and no void to fill, it uses less board than a box of equivalent protection and keeps both volume and postage weight down. We die-cut and crease these in E and B flute for clean folding and a printable face, and can add a peel-and-seal or tape strip so they close in one motion on the line.

Book-wrap mailer FAQs

What is a one-piece folder (OPF)?

A one-piece folder is a flat corrugated blank with pre-scored creases that wrap up and around the contents to form a box with no separate lid. The book-wrap style adds side flaps and adjustable creases so the wrap closes snugly to the thickness of the goods.

What is a book-wrap mailer best for?

It suits flat or thin items — books, printed matter, documents, lookbooks, folded apparel and accessory cards — where a snug, low-profile wrap protects edges and corners while keeping postage weight and volume down.

How does a one-piece folder close?

Most fold and tuck shut, often with a peel-and-seal strip or a tape strip we can add. There are no loose parts to lose, so it assembles fast by hand and ships flat until needed.
