Child Labour Policy

Our position
Padma Accessories Limited does not employ children. We strictly prohibit child labour in our operations and require the same of our suppliers and contractors.
Definition
For the purposes of this policy, a "child" is any person under 18 years of age. We do not employ any person under the legal working age in Bangladesh, and we do not engage in any work that is likely to be hazardous, interfere with a child’s education, or harm a child’s health or development.
Verification
Before hiring, we verify each prospective employee’s age through government-issued identification documents. We maintain records of these verifications and they are available for buyer audit.
Supply chain
We require our suppliers and contractors to comply with this policy. Any supplier found to be using child labour will be removed from our approved supplier list immediately.
